These cookies are simply IRRESISTABLE! I had to put them into the freezer to prevent myself from devouring them all at once! They even stay soft and chewy the next day (ok, so I kept a few from the freezer - if you make them, you'll understand why).
Ok, now does anyone know where I can get cinnamon chips in New Jersey? Or am I going to have to have them sent to me from Kansas City? ;) I'm totally hooked now!
Here are some more incredible cookie recipes that I'm adding to my never-ending pile of recipes that I need to make... you'll want to try them, too!
Melanie at My Kitchen Cafe is a woman after my own heart with her Thick and Chewy Double Chocolate Cookies!
Recipegirl is at it again (almost sounds like a super hero whenever I type her name!) with her Cinnamon Bun Cookies... they look just like cinnamon buns!

Hi Patsy,
Your cookies look great!
I made snickerdoodles with cinnamon chips and toffe bits. Yum. Do you have Wegman's near you? That is the only place I can find them in south jersey. Let me know if you need me to mail you some. I bought a bunch the other day.

Is your mom in KC?
I love these cinnamon chips also! The only place I have been able to find them is a specialty store here and those are minis only. I ALWAYS look in the grocery stores but never have any luck.

Sweet Sister -
Just ask and the Good Witch of the West will ship some to you - and you don't have to wait for Mom & Dad's next visit :-)! How many bags do you want? I'll pick them up and send them out this weekend.

Lovely photo! For those frozen ones you kept, how do you warm them up? Thanks for your advice.
Patsy,
I found the cinnamon chips at KINGS supermarkets in NJ. Yay!
You are a bad influence!
Stacey
Wow! Thanks for all of the offers to send me cinnamon chips! :)
I will have to check the King's locally and see if I can get them there. I can't wait to get more and try some other recipes with them.... so addictive!

I've never added cinnamon to my standard chocolate chip cookies before but i think i might have to after seeing these lovelies-yum! they sound and look great!
I usually have friends and family send them to me too because I haven't found a local source yet, but when we went to Hershey Park over the summer, I noticed they sell them, so I stocked up.
