Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies from Stephanie's Kitchen

The snowiest winter ever continued this week.  Wednesday night Mother Nature dumped another 12 or so inches on us, so the kids had another snow day on Thursday.  Fortunately, my office closed and I was able to get the essential work done from home.  For someone who hates driving in the muck and guck of this season, that worked to my advantage.

The boys couldn't wait to get out into the piles of snow that we got this time around... snow forts were built and hot chocolate was ready for them when they came inside.
Being home on a day like this makes me want to bake.  Cookies were calling to me, but then I needed to decide on which one to bake today.  I remembered seeing a recipe posted by Stephanie's Kitchen recently, and I had flagged it in my reader so I wouldn't forget about it.  I was intrigued by the addition of pudding mix in the recipe and how that would affect the cookie.

Wow!  These cookies have a nice crisp exterior and are so moist and cakey inside!  Both of My Boys loved them... and I think it is safe to say My Husband loves them, too... because he keeps going back for more!

I'm bringing some of them into work today because I can see that they will be very "dangerous" if I keep them all!

You can find the full recipe over at Stephanie's Kitchen - Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies.  I can't wait to try some other flavor combinations with the pudding!

Pasty, you definitely have more more snow than we do! Your cookies look yummy - nothing nicer than being snowed in at home with some yummy smells floating thorough the house!
in my area we had around 7-8 inches of snow. fortunately most of it melted already yeeeeeeee
I love baking and nothing compares with the warmth form fresh baked good on a cold winter day.

your cookies looks delicious, thanks for sharing. I'm intrigue by the pudding mix in the batter.

Have a wonderful weekend
