It's been a little bit since my last post, but I'm back today to share some fabulous food from Smashburger and a Giveaway!
You can self serve your drinks (free refills!) and find a table or booth where you'll wait for your order to be delivered to your table. A nice touch in comparison to other burger places we've been to around the area. They don't disappear once the food has been dropped off for your enjoyment... they stop by to make sure that you are happy with everything and to ask if you need anything else. Definitely a full-service place!
The hard part is actually choosing what to order! They have such a variety of burgers that you'll find yourself wanting a taste of each one! I was lucky enough to be invited to a tasting at my local Smashburger, and I'm so glad that I had this opportunity because I found a new favorite while I was there.
We sampled more burgers than most people would try in a single visit, thankfully, we had small samples and I figured out quickly that it was better to do a one-bite taste to make sure I would have room for each sample!
The Classic Cheeseburger is topped with fresh ingredients that will have even your youngest burger loves craving a trip back to Smashburger.
I have to mention that the kid's menu at Smashburger is varied so that even the non-burger lover can find something that will make them happy. The servings for the kids portions are big enough to satisfy the hungriest kid. And, if they need a bit more to nibble you should have ordered the Smash Fries!
These fries are seriously addictive - tossed with olive oil, garlic and rosemary. You simply cannot go to Smashburger and not order these fries... it's just wrong not to dig into these fries!
I loved getting to taste the different burgers, and as a result have found my new favorite: Truffle Mushroom Swiss...
The flavor of this burger is incredible and let's just say it was a good thing I only had a sample of it because it would have been embarrassing to have inhaled this burger in front of other people! It's THAT good! I wouldn't steer you wrong on this one!
I've gone on and on about the burgers, and with good reason. They are called SMASHburgers for a reason... they take a loose ball of ground beef and place it on a hot griddle and literally smash it down for 10 seconds. This sears the outside and seals in the juices - creating a perfectly, juicy burger.
While burgers are what might get you in the door, they also have an assortment of chicken sandwiches and salads (seriously HUGE salads) to appeal to anyone who might not be in the mood for a burger. They really have something for everyone on the menu.
We got to sample a couple of their shakes as well... all are made with Haagen Dasz ice cream! Creamy and full of flavor - we tried the strawberry and the cookies & cream... it was a good thing that we only had samples because they were so good we all would have sipped until they were gone!
Now that I've tempted you with the fabulous food at Smashburger, I've got a giveaway that I know you'll want to win!
