As part of the Sun-Bird Seasonings blogger advocate program, I received a few packets of their Asian inspired seasonings. Rather than do the obvious and make stir-fry, I decided to add a bit of oil to the seasoning and rub it on a London broil.
The Mongolian Beef seasoning intrigued me because it had an almost sweet but spicy scent to it. Mixing it with about 1/2 cup of olive oil to create a thick liquid mixture. Brush it on both sides of the steak.
This is such a quick and easy meal, you will have it on the table within about 30-35 minutes! My Husband and I really enjoyed the subtle kick that the Sun-Bird Mongilian Beef seasoning added to the meat. I even made the mashed potatoes from scratch - using my pressure cooker! Add a tossed salad and you've got a homemade, healthy meal. Yes, it is possible to put together a nice meal, even on a busy night. You just need the right ingredients and a plan.

I could use the gift card in so many ways to make life easier. One way would be to buy prepared salads. A quick way to add healthy greens to your dinner.
I would get rotisserie chicken - that would save me a ton of time on weeknights.
