Quaker Steak & Lube {Restaurant Review}

Last summer, we found a fun, family friendly restaurant in South Jersey - Quaker Steak & Lube.  I know it's taken me awhile to finally share it here, but better late than never!

The atmosphere is not quiet inside, which accommodates families and people wanting to go out and have a little fun.  If you can't guess by the name, there is a serious race car theme going on and it's carried throughout the menu as well.

The menu has some fun appetizers, salads, burgers, wraps and their claim-to-fame - wings.

We started with the O-Ring Ontenna - they were some crispy onion rings!

The list of sauces that you can select for your wings is pretty extensive, and goes from mild and sweet to super, spicy hot.

I chose the Boneless Wing salad, and had the Original BBQ sauce to top it off.  I loved that it was served with crisp pita wedges that could be used to scoop up the boneless wings along with some of the salad.

The portions are generous as you can see by the wrap shown below.  Many of the wraps allow you to select your own "lube" (sauce)

We went there a couple of times over the summer months and the food was consistent, which is to be expected of a chain... but, we have had different experiences at other chains.

The portions are reasonable and the pricing is not going to break the bank.  The chain has only recently come into New Jersey, but has been around for awhile in other states.  Check out The Lube website for locations that might be close to you!
